    Hot Dip Galvanised Finish
Pillars are supplied made from a variety of
materials depending upon the nature of the environment to which they are
exposed when installed.  Standard pillars are made form either 3mm
or 5mm thick steel plate which is hot dip galvanised to give a silver
finish.  This type of surface treatment gives good protection
against corrosion and is the surface finish most seen on the pillars at
        the sides of roads.
        Painted Finish
Should the designer require a coloured surface
finish the galvanised coating can be treated and painted over.
Common colours chosen are green and grey (pictured above).  These
coating match and blend in with the built environment.
        Stainless Steel
        Where exposure to corrosive environments
experienced stainless steel can be an option.  Pictured below is a
feeder pillar specially designed for a client.  The outer shell of
the pillar is stainless steel painted grey.  The internal equipment
is also bespoke stainless steel, this includes an isolator and two
        distribution boards.
